Riot Games has set six regional qualification circuits for the 2027 VCT Pacific Cups in VALORANT. South Korea and Japan each receive three direct places, Southeast Asia receives two, and Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam each receive one. A Pacific Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) supplies the 12th and final place.[1]
That allocation gives the six regional circuits 11 direct places in total. Riot says teams qualify for the Cups through regional Playoffs, reached through Open Qualifiers and Play-ins. Teams from South Asia and Oceania do not have a direct regional slot; the official format gives them a route through the Pacific LCQ.[1]
The split makes Korea and Japan the largest direct qualification circuits, while the Southeast Asia circuit has two places and each of the three national circuits has one. VALO2ASIA’s guide independently outlines the same allocation and says the Pacific LCQ is an eight-team tournament whose winner claims the final Cup place.[2]
