PTG Database Analysis

VCT Pacific is Riot Games’ Asia-Pacific international league for VALORANT, within the VALORANT Champions Tour. Its inaugural season ran from March 25 to May 28, 2023 in Seoul, South Korea, bringing together ten teams from Southeast Asia, Korea, Japan and South Asia. The competition provides a regional route to Masters and Champions.[1]

The league’s field and format change by season. Riot’s 2026 primer lists twelve league teams and adds a Challengers route into the Stage 2 Play-In. Its schedule separates Kickoff, Stage 1 and Stage 2, while Champions qualification combines the Stage 2 results with accumulated Championship Points. The announced USD 250,000 prize pool is a 2026 season figure.[2]

Nongshim RedForce’s VALORANT team entered the league in 2025 following the acquisition of the Ascension Pacific 2024-winning roster. Riot’s subsequent primer confirms that Nongshim RedForce qualified for the 2026 league through Ascension Pacific 2025. These announcements document distinct season entries rather than a permanent league place.[3][2]

Official distribution includes English and regional-language broadcasts. Partner and team rosters, host venues and results should be evaluated for the relevant season; this series profile preserves the competition’s identity and the dated context supporting PTG’s coverage.[2]
