QTnet’s professional esports team QT DIG∞ has a team theme song. The Fukuoka-based telecom operator said on Sept. 25 in its announcement that T.N.T, the rock band led by Yuya Tegoshi, wrote the lyrics for “TAKE OVER” and that the track began pre-release distribution on music services on Sept. 23.
T.N.T was the official cheering supporter of VALORANT Challengers Japan 2026, the VALORANT competition whose Season Finals QT DIG∞ won on July 26. The tournament’s executive committee said the champion received the right to an original song written by the band’s members as a supplementary prize, the mechanism that produced “TAKE OVER”. QTnet said the lyrics draw on conversations with the players and reference game terms such as “headshot” and “retake”, the team’s stated theme “Challenge your limits. Win your goals”, and “Your shot!”, a line built around a call associated with the player Misaya. Skream! reported the track is an advance single from T.N.T’s EP “THE FEARLESS”, due Oct. 21, and that a lyric video was published on Sept. 23.
The notable part is the prize mechanism. The tournament’s executive committee said the champion received the right to an original song written by the event’s official cheering supporter, extending the activation beyond the final and linking it to a specific competitive result. QTnet operates the team directly: QT DIG∞ said the telecom operator absorbed its former operator, Sengoku Co., Ltd., on April 1, 2026, and took over all of Sengoku’s operations. QTnet announced “TAKE OVER” as QT DIG∞‘s theme song, but the operating relationship does not establish who owns the recording or publishing rights. The public record already showed QT DIG∞ taking the Season Finals 3-2 over REJECT on July 26 at Arena Tachihi; what is new is the song’s release. The rights, license term, commercial terms and prize value were not disclosed.
Whether “TAKE OVER” becomes the team’s regular match entrance music would show the prize has become an operating asset rather than a one-off release, and a repeat of the song-as-prize mechanism at a later edition of the competition would establish it as a format rather than a single activation. Any disclosure of rights, licensing or revenue terms between QTnet, T.N.T’s label and the tournament organiser would clarify who controls the recording.
