Get ready to play and fly. The V26 VALORANT Tour Chengdu stop and the 2026 VCT CN Stage 2 playoff qualifier and playoffs will be held in Chengdu from August 5 to 23. The fifth stop of the V26 tour brings its full event experience to national audiences, local residents and esports fans through a combination of competition, fashion, culture and city activities.
V26 VALORANT Tour Arrives in Chengdu as Competition Opens
The VCT CN Stage 2 playoffs form the competitive centre of the Chengdu stop and will be played across two phases. From August 5 to 16, the Stage 2 playoff qualifier and the first three playoff days will take place at Chengdu Chengbei Gymnasium.
Eight VCT CN league teams—EDward Gaming, All Gamers, FunPlus Phoenix, Wolves Esports, Dragon Ranger Gaming, JD Gaming, Trace Esports and Titan Esports Club—will be joined by KBG and AT from the national competition pathway. The ten teams will compete through a double-elimination bracket for four places in the next stage. Those four teams will then join NOVA Esports, Bilibili Gaming, Xi Lai Gaming and TYLOO, who qualified directly from the regular season, for the opening playoff matches.
From August 19 to 23, the remaining five days of the Stage 2 playoffs will be held at Chengdu Financial City Performing Arts Center. Only one team will lift the trophy and become the 2026 VCT CN league Stage 2 champion. The lower-bracket final and grand final will use best-of-five series, while the other matches will use best-of-three. The champion and runner-up will qualify directly for the global Champions event.
A Chengdu Summer of Esports, Culture and City Activities
During the VCT CN Stage 2 playoffs, activities will take place both inside and outside the venues. The twelve VCT CN teams will also hold club meet-and-greet events, with detailed schedules to be announced through the official competition and team channels.
Away from the matches, the Chengdu stop will include a first-of-its-kind immersive VALORANT anniversary theme park at Dongjiao Memory. Visitors will be able to take part in interactive experiences, themed photo spots and challenges, with special guests also expected to join the anniversary programme.
The V26 VALORANT Tour and VCT CN league are continuing to develop the identity of “trend culture, intense competition and city tourism.” By coming to Chengdu for the first time, the two properties are exploring deeper connections with the city’s culture, tourism, commercial and sports sectors. More tour activities will be announced through the official channels.
