After the playoffs, LOUD from the Americas and VIT from the VCT EMEA region faced off for the year’s highest honor in VALORANT. After four maps, LOUD defeated VIT 3–1 to win Champions Shanghai 2026, becoming the first team to win the VCT Champions title twice. After the group stage at VALORANT Champions Shanghai 2026, PRX, NRG, VIT, 100T, G2, NS, LOUD and T1 advanced to the playoffs. After five days of playoff matches, LOUD, VIT, 100T and G2 advanced to the final four and headed to the final at Mercedes-Benz Arena Shanghai.[2]

A New Agent, Hush, Revealed at VALORANT Champions Shanghai
At the Champions Shanghai grand final, Riot Games officially revealed Hush (遐思), the newest Duelist to join the VALORANT agent lineup. Hush is from Lingnan, China. She will bring her own style and personality to VALORANT and create more varied tactical combinations in future VCT competition, giving viewers more to look forward to. Hush will arrive in Season 2026 // Act VI.[3]
The 2027 VALORANT Champions Tour Is Coming: A Global Tour Across 15 Cities
The 2027 VALORANT Champions Tour will open its doors to more teams, hold more events, provide more financial support to teams that qualify on merit, and bring VCT to more cities around the world. In addition to the cities already announced, VCT CN will also visit more cities for in-person events. More details will follow.[4][6]
During VALORANT Champions Shanghai, the VALORANT city esports culture program also unfolded across Shanghai. Activities brought trend culture to the city, including a player party spanning Qiantan Leisure Park and Gongyuanxiang, a special VAL-SOUND Champions concert, a celebrity showmatch, fashion collaborations, VALORANT Champions Park and an interactive Champions-themed district. The program offered esports fans a range of entertainment experiences.[2]
VALORANT Champions Shanghai 2026 has concluded, and the 2027 season is about to begin. The 2027 VCT season will use a new format designed to make every match more exciting.
