Riot Games has opened the first global application window for the League of Legends Partner Program. Applications run from Sept. 1 through Sept. 30, 2026, according to Riot’s Creator Hub, which now shows a “Sign in to apply” entry point.
Why It Matters
Riot is bringing its creator programs closer together across League of Legends, VALORANT and Teamfight Tactics. That gives the publisher a larger, reusable network for distribution, feedback and promotion across its live-service games.
The trade-off is access. A program that grows to thousands of creators will need to show that it offers real support, not just a larger application pool.
What Changed
The program is open to creators worldwide, subject to restrictions in some countries or regions, and applicants must be at least 18. Riot says it will assess consistency, game familiarity, community engagement, positive behavior and audience reach, while considering both established and up-and-coming creators.
Potential benefits include creator-specific in-game content, dedicated Player Support, giveaway codes and drops, temporary travel-account support, and priority invitations for campaigns, events and early access. Benefits may vary by game and region.
The League window follows VALORANT’s Aug. 3–28 application period and comes before Teamfight Tactics, which is scheduled to open applications from Oct. 1–30. Riot announced the cross-game rollout in May as an evolution of the former League Partner Program and said it expected to welcome thousands of creators.
What to Watch
- The number and profile of creators selected after the September League application window, including the balance between established and emerging channels.
- The benefits and support Riot actually grants across League, VALORANT and Teamfight Tactics.
- Whether the October Teamfight Tactics window and later campaign activity turn Creator Hub into a working cross-game support layer rather than a centralised intake form.
