QTnet’s distinctive position is that a regional telecommunications carrier owns and directly operates a professional esports team. The company profile lists esports as a formal line of business alongside telecommunications, broadcasting and power retail, and the corporate history records the 2021 opening of the esports Challenger’s Park facility in Fukuoka.[1][2]
That ownership became direct rather than indirect on 1 April 2026, when QTnet absorbed its group company Sengoku Co., Ltd. and moved all of Sengoku’s operations, including QT DIG∞, into its own esports division. The stated rationale is concentrated management resources and faster decision-making.[3]
QTnet announced the QT DIG∞ theme song after the 2026 Season Finals, with T.N.T writing the lyrics as part of the champion’s supplementary prize. QTnet’s operating role establishes who runs the team, but the release and operating records do not establish who owns the recording or publishing rights. The esports unit’s revenue, budget and contractual structure are also undisclosed.[4][3]
