PTG Database Analysis

The inaugural edition established the EWC’s central mechanism: separate game championships feeding a single club-level table. That structure encouraged organizations to build or partner across multiple games, while giving sponsors both a master-brand platform and game-specific environments.[2]

The final record is larger than the early marketing shorthand. EWC promoted a $60 million-plus program and initially described 22 tournaments across 21 games; the completed schedule reached 23 events across 22 esports after Strinova was added. PTG uses the final program and $62.5 million combined allocation here, while retaining the organizer’s audience and attendance figures as organizer-reported metrics.[1][2]

Team Falcons’ title also established the competitive concentration question that would follow the series: clubs with broad portfolios had more routes to points than single-title specialists. The 2024 result is therefore the baseline for comparing roster breadth, partner investment and audience growth in later editions.[2][3]
