Valve’s 2023 Counter-Strike tournament announcement ended organizers’ unique commercial relationships with participating teams from 2025 and changed how invitations could be issued. The policy affected partner-league structures such as ESL’s former Louvre Agreement; individual tournament series and editions remain operated by their named organizers.[3]
