PTG Database Analysis
ESL One Cologne began in 2014 and became one of ESL’s recurring Counter-Strike events. ESL’s 2019 announcement identifies LANXESS Arena as its Cologne home, documents a 16-team field and $300,000 prize pool for that edition, and calls it the fifth anniversary at the arena. Those numbers describe 2019 and should not be applied to every year.
ESL still listed ESL One Cologne in its 2021 calendar. The current Cologne event page uses the Intel Extreme Masters name, so this record preserves ESL One Cologne as a historical competition identity instead of merging it with the separate Intel Extreme Masters series. The ESL press gallery provides the locally stored stage photograph for editorial use with photographer credit.
