Intel Corporation is an American multinational technology company founded in 1968 by Gordon Moore and Robert Noyce. It is the world’s largest semiconductor chip manufacturer by revenue and the developer of the x86 series of microprocessors found in most personal computers.

Intel has been a cornerstone sponsor of the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) series since its inception in 2007, making it one of the longest-running brand partnerships in esports. IEM events across the globe, including IEM Katowice, IEM Cologne, and IEM Beijing, carry the Intel name as title sponsor.
