Visa and MOONTON Games announced on Sept. 21 a three-year agreement naming Visa the Global Payment Partner of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M Series. The deal covers the M8 World Championship in 2027, M9 in 2028 and M10 in 2029. MOONTON says M8 will mark the series’ first European edition.
Under the announced benefits, Visa cardholders will receive preferential access to tickets for those championships and opportunities to win VIP Zone access, player meet-and-greets and behind-the-scenes tours. The VIP experiences are prize opportunities, rather than guaranteed benefits for every cardholder. Neither company disclosed the agreement’s financial value or exclusivity terms.
The new term extends a relationship that began with Visa’s payment partnership at M7 in Jakarta. MOONTON has also listed Visa as an official sponsor of MPL Philippines Season 18. Those commitments trace a progression from one world championship and a national league season to payment rights across three future global championships.
For Visa, the longer term creates repeated contact with MLBB audiences as the M Series moves into Europe. For MOONTON, it secures a payment partner across three editions while the competition expands beyond its Southeast Asian base. That wider commercial reach is an interpretation of the announced scope; the companies have not published a valuation or details of how the arrangement will operate in each host market.
