Jakarta’s Tourism and Creative Economy Agency plans to hold Jakarta Esports 2026 at M Bloc Space in Jakarta on Nov. 13. The event is free to the public and puts a showcase of Indonesian-made games at the center of a programme that also includes esports competition, live music, cosplay and community activities.[1]

Visitors can try local games and may get a chance to play alongside invited professional players. The announcement lists ESI DKI, Garudaku, MPL ID, AGI and E-Project among collaborators, along with esports and campus communities. MOONTON Games describes E-Project as its “Esports for Everyone” programme, which invites public institutions and commercial entities to organize MLBB tournaments. A Mobile Legends: Bang Bang competition is also planned, with an IDR 50 million (USD 2.76k) prize pool.[1][4]

The organizer said it was targeting 300 teams and had received 126 registrations by Oct. 16; registration was scheduled to close on Nov. 4. Dipha Barus, Fiersa Besari and Ghea Indrawari are listed among the performers. These figures reflect the announcement’s Oct. 19 update and do not establish the final registration count.[1]

The event is part of programming leading up to Jakarta’s 500th anniversary. Its schedule places local game development alongside competition and public cultural activities in a city-led creative-economy programme.[1]

USD equivalents are PTG estimates, rounded using Bank Indonesia’s JISDOR rate of IDR 18,094 per USD 1 on Nov. 5, 2026, the latest available rate before the Nov. 6 update.[2]
