Update, September 23, 2026: The Esports Nations Cup was subsequently postponed from November 2026 to November 2027. This article records the July 30 partnership announcement as published; see the organizer’s August 18 update.
Esports Foundation and adidas announced on July 30 that adidas would become the Esports Nations Cup’s Official Kit Partner and a Global Partner. The company said it would make custom jerseys and tracksuits for delegations from more than 100 countries and territories, across all 16 planned titles.
The announcement put the intended scale at about 2,000 athletes and coaches. It also described a $20 million prize pool and a $45 million overall funding commitment, including a $20 million Development Fund. These are the organizer’s announced plans; the kit deal does not establish how many teams ultimately receive apparel or disclose its commercial value.
The July release expected national jerseys to be unveiled before the inaugural event, then scheduled for November 2026. The organizer postponed that event to November 2027 on August 18 and said existing Development Fund commitments would continue. A revised kit delivery timetable has not been announced.
