PTG Database Analysis

GAM Esports is the team brand of a Vietnamese entertainment company that says it acquired the club in 2021 and still leads with League of Legends. The company separates GAM Entertainment, GAM Esports, GAM Media, and GAM Lifestyle, so a competitive deal and a content or product deal are not the same contract.[1]

In PUBG, GAM’s teams page lists GAM x Team Expendables as a partner roster, formerly The Expendables, in Hanoi, and credits that roster with the 2024 world title. That is a named partnership, not evidence that GAM owns the older PUBG organization. The Expendables account then announced the end of its PUBG division on 25 September 2026, so any current roster rights need a fresh check.[2][4]
