The Stage 2 main event ran September 1–3 and September 8–9, followed by a September 17 LAN final at Riot Games Arena Los Angeles. The official schedule set upper-bracket quarterfinals for September 1; upper semifinals and lower-bracket round one for September 2; lower-bracket round two for September 3; the upper-bracket final and lower-bracket semifinal for September 8; and the best-of-five lower-bracket final for September 9. The LAN final was a best-of-five on September 17.[2] Shopify Rebellion Gold defeated FlyQuest RED 3–1 to win the title.[3]
The eight Main Event teams were FlyQuest RED, SwimTrek Blue, Shopify Rebellion Gold, The Spiders, Axolotl, HIMMERS, Cloud9 GC and MVSK Secret. Riot identifies Verizon as the VCT’s official 5G and wireless provider, Red Bull as the official energy drink and presenter of the Red Bull Clutch Moment, and Secretlab as the official gaming chair partner. Raidiant operated the event and broadcast an observer-only feed on September 1–2.[2]
