Golden Guardians was an American esports club founded in 2017. Its League of Legends team entered the LCS in 2018 and competed through 2023. The team’s final LCS season included a runner-up finish in Spring and a 7th–8th-place finish at the 2023 Mid-Season Invitational.[1]
The 2022 esports operations facility in Playa Vista, Los Angeles, housed team offices and practice space. This historical location is distinct from a verified corporate headquarters. Riot and Golden Guardians mutually agreed that the club would leave the LCS ahead of the 2024 season.[2][3]
