PTG Database Analysis
The 2018 Las Vegas edition ran from December 6–8 at the Esports Arena inside Luxor Hotel. Riot built the three-day programme around professional players and community figures, with a 1v1 bracket, charity 2v2 tournament, East vs West Showdown, regional rivalry matches, Tandem Mode, Nexus Blitz and URF.[1][2] The format had no single overall event champion: Caps defeated Pabu to win the separate 1v1 tournament.[4]
This edition expanded the All-Star programme’s community participation and mixed competitive matches with exhibition modes. It belongs to the same Riot-run series as earlier regional and Fire-versus-Ice editions, while retaining its own host venue, schedule and 1v1 result.[2][5]
