Overview
UC Irvine identifies Armao as Jonathan Armao and lists him as the varsity League of Legends team’s starting top laner in 2026. His professional career includes the 2023 Evil Geniuses lineup.[1][2][3]
In July 2026, LYON called on Armao to replace Inspired as its LCS jungler. In an interview after his first series back, Armao said the request came at short notice while he was studying at UC Irvine and that he had considered himself done with competitive play. LYON won both games against FlyQuest in that opening week. His temporary contract ended in August, when Inspired returned.[4][5]
Earlier, Armao spent 2020–22 with Team Liquid, primarily on its Academy roster. Liquid says he filled in for Santorin during its 2021 LCS Lock In win, then returned to the Academy team and captained it to the Summer Playoffs title—his second Academy championship.[6][7]
