Hero Esports (英雄电竞) is a Chinese esports event operations and production company founded in 2016 as VSPN (英雄体育, later rebranded VSPO) and renamed Hero Esports in October 2024. It is one of Asia’s largest esports organizers, running competitions, broadcasting and venue operations across multiple games, and co-founded the Asia Champions League Foundation.

Esports Asian Champions League

Hero Esports is the organizer of the Esports Asian Champions League (ACL), a multi-title Asian circuit it launched with a $2 million prize pool in 2025. The ACL was designed as an Asian qualification pathway into the Esports World Cup, and Hero Esports co-organized the 2025 ACL qualifiers with the Esports World Cup Foundation.

China strategy

The company is a central partner in the Esports World Cup Foundation’s China growth plan, alongside Tencent Esports. Its production and operations expertise, developed across years of Chinese league and event work, makes it a bridge between domestic circuits and global tournament formats.
