PTG Database Analysis

Griffin is a closed Korean organization, useful as history rather than as a current rights holder. Wikipedia dates it to November 2016 and records the League of Legends division’s disbanding on 5 January 2021. Inven Global reported Still8’s acquisition of that team in November 2018.[2][3]

The competitive mark that still travels with the name is the 2018 KeSPA Cup, not an active league slot. Any use of the Griffin name needs the current owner of the mark. This record does not establish that STILL8, or anyone else, is still selling it.[4]
