Giants Gaming developed into a Spanish multi-title esports club with League of Legends, FIFA, Call of Duty and Hearthstone divisions. Its League of Legends team competed in the EU LCS and at IEM Season XI Gyeonggi in 2016.[1][3]
The Giants Gaming identity ended as a separate club brand when it merged with Excel Esports in December 2023 to form GIANTX. PTG keeps the former Giants Gaming club and its game-specific teams distinct from the merged club record.[2]
