PTG Database Analysis

Essendon Football Club operated the Bombers League of Legends team in the Oceanic Pro League. The Club introduced its esports squad before the 2018 OPL season, fielded a 2019 roster, and later sold the OPL licence to Pentanet, ending Essendon’s esports operation.[5][6][7]

The licence transfer records a change in competition rights; it does not make Pentanet the owner of the earlier Bombers team. The League of Legends Team and its parent Club are represented as separate PTG entities.
