PTG Database Analysis
VALORANT Challengers Japan is the Japanese leg of the VALORANT Champions Tour’s Challengers layer, organized by Riot Games for VALORANT. The series began in 2023 and each season runs through split play before a Season Finals that crowns the national champion and decides the Japanese representative for the following Pacific-level event.[2][3]
Editions are produced and operated on Riot’s behalf by an executive committee named for the season, so commercial, venue and partner arrangements differ year to year. Individual editions keep their own dates, field, prize pool and champion; the series record only carries the identity, organizer and competition program that stay constant.[1]
