PTG Database Analysis

Nine League of Legends teams met at GG Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City for the 2018 LCL–TCL–VCS regional tournament. Teams from the three regions played cross-region best-of-one games in the group stage. Each region finished 3–3, and the LCL won a tiebreaker to take first seed. The TCL then beat the VCS 3–1 in the semifinal and the LCL 3–1 in the final to win the event. The combined prize pool was USD 72,000. Leaguepedia divides that amount into USD 39,000 for the TCL, USD 21,000 for the LCL and USD 12,000 for the VCS; Liquipedia reports a different participant-level payout breakdown, so PTG records the independently corroborated overall pool without assigning per-team payouts.[1][2]
