PTG Database Analysis

PUBG MOBILE Esports has scheduled the 2026 Global Open Season 2 in Lahore for Oct 20–25. The official announcement lists 32 teams, selected through nine regional finals, and a USD 500,000 prize pool. It also describes the event as the first official global PUBG MOBILE Esports tournament held in Pakistan. The 2026 tournament listing names KRAFTON and Level Infinite as organizers.[1][5]

The format adds a best-of-three Team Deathmatch when a points tie decides a qualification place. The Grand Finals include a themed-map showmatch and a possible Match 13 under the published SMASH rules. A listing from Expo Centre Lahore places the Oct 24–25 PUBG event booking at the venue, which matches the Grand Finals dates.[1][6]

Spotcomm Global says it is providing connectivity and network infrastructure for the Pakistan event. Its announcement also names TYSON GLOBAL ESPORTS, LEVEL UP ID, INSTANT ESPORTS and ZUNO X LIVE as official media and creator partners. Those four names do not yet resolve to verified canonical PTG pages, so their identities and routes need further review before they can be added to the linked partnership table.[7]

The announced groups are: Group A — 4K Esports, AK Gold Esports, AlUla Club, Bigetron, Geekay, Horaa Esports, Hustler Crew, INFLUENCE RAGE, LF Esports, OLD NOT, RoW Esports, Royall Esports, S2G Esports, Selibon Esports, Sharper Esports and Trained to Kill; Group B — 18 Esports, 4Thrives, 777 Esports, Alpha7, Alter Ego Ares, BUF Esports, Cryptics, iKURD ESPORTS, R8 Esports, Regnum Carya, Team NEXT, The MongolZ, The Vicious, ULF Esports, Vampire Esports and Wolves.
