PUBG MOBILE Esports announced on Oct. 13 that the 2026 PUBG MOBILE Global Open (PMGO) Season 2 will take place in Lahore from Oct. 20–25. The announcement calls it Pakistan’s first official global PUBG MOBILE esports event. Thirty-two teams qualified through nine regional finals across Asia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and the Americas; they will compete for a share of the USD 500,000 prize pool and a route to the 2026 PUBG MOBILE Global Championship.[1][2]

The announcement adds a best-of-three 4v4 Team Deathmatch on Warehouse when a points tie in the Group or Survival Stage determines a qualification place. In the Grand Finals, a themed-map showmatch before Match 7 gives its winner the right to ban one of three map options for a possible Match 13. That extra match is played only if no team has already won under the event’s SMASH rules; if needed, the leader after Match 12 chooses from the two remaining maps.[1]
