Overview
The Honor of Kings World Champion Cup (KCC) was the game’s championship series before the cross-game KIC format. Liquipedia’s S-Tier history lists editions from 2017 through 2021. Beijing News reported that the completed 2021 edition would be followed by a combined Honor of Kings and Arena of Valor global championship in 2022. The KCC and KIC are kept as separate competition series because the 2021 and 2022 editions used different names and competition structures.[2][3][4]
