PTG Database Analysis

VALORANT Challengers Japan 2026 was the 2026 season of Riot Games’ Japanese VALORANT competition, organized by Riot Games and produced and operated by the VALORANT Challengers Japan 2026 Executive Committee. The season ran through split play into a Season Finals that opened with an online stage, which closed on 5 July 2026, and finished with an offline finals weekend at Arena Tachihi in Tachikawa, Tokyo, on 25–26 July.[2][1]

Four teams reached the offline finals: REJECT, IGZIST, QT DIG∞ and FENNEL. QT DIG∞ beat FENNEL 2–0 and REJECT beat IGZIST 2–0 in the semifinals, then QT DIG∞ won the grand final 3–2 over REJECT, taking the final map 13–11 after a five-map series. The final standings placed QT DIG∞ first, REJECT second and FENNEL and IGZIST joint third. The title carried the Japanese representative place at VCT 2026 Pacific Stage 2 Play-Ins in Seoul. The champion also received the right to an original song written by tournament supporter T.N.T; QTnet later announced the resulting QT DIG∞ theme song “TAKE OVER,” crediting T.N.T with the lyrics. The announcement did not disclose recording or publishing rights.[1][3]

The commercial shape of the edition combines a Riot-owned competition property with a locally operated production committee, a music-act supporter rather than a conventional sponsor, and a merchandise programme whose sales window ran from 4 August to 30 September 2026, with part of the proceeds returned to Split 2 Main Stage teams. No prize-pool figure, audience total or partner-fee detail was published, so the edition’s economics remain undisclosed.[1]
