PTG Database Analysis
The World Cyber Games Inc. organized the Counter-Strike 1.6 national-team tournament in Chengdu from November 11–15, 2009. The Grand Final took place at Century City New International Convention and Exhibition Center in Chengdu. AGAiN beat fnatic 2–0. Liquipedia’s infobox says 32 teams, while its 37 participant cards and group standings name 37; this record links each named entrant and retains the count discrepancy.[1][2][3]
Samsung was identified as an official event partner, with support covering equipment, technology and funding. WCG also announced a separate official partnership with TSST Korea for its national qualifier and the Grand Final; that organization is not linked until a canonical PTG profile is established.[4][5]
