PTG Database Analysis

IEM Rio 2026 was an ESL Pro Tour Masters Counter-Strike 2 event. ESL FACEIT Group organized the 16-team competition, which ran April 13–19 in Rio de Janeiro. Its announced format used two double-elimination groups of eight; the top three teams from each group advanced to the playoffs.[1][3][4]

The final stage took place at Farmasi Arena in Barra da Tijuca. The state sport and leisure secretariat says FERJEE partnered with EFG on local activations, social programs and esports development. EFG also announced event activations from DHL, BetBoom and ZOWIE.[1][3]

Team Vitality won the tournament, beating Team Spirit in the final. ESL’s results page lists USD 1 million in total winnings, split between player prize money and club rewards.[2]
