PTG Database Analysis

ESL announced IEM Global Challenge as an eight-team event with a USD 500,000 prize pool, initially planned as a LAN from Cologne.[1] The organizers later moved the competition online; it ran from December 15 to 20 and was listed for Europe.[7] The online format means it had no physical host venue or city.

Astralis defeated Team Liquid in the final. BIG and Natus Vincere placed third–fourth, followed by FURIA and Team Vitality in fifth–sixth, and HEROIC and Complexity in seventh–eighth.[3]

The event’s listed commercial partners include Intel, Acer Predator, Mountain Dew Game Fuel and DHL; ESL separately identified GG.BET as its global betting partner across 2020 IEM events.[1][5][4]
