PTG Database Analysis
DreamHack AB announced this 16-team Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Masters competition alongside DreamHack Summer in Jönköping, Sweden. The group stage was scheduled for June 9–11 as a broadcast-only phase, with the playoffs planned for June 12–14 at Kinnarps Arena. After the festival moved to August, DreamHack said Masters could not be staged in the arena; it then replaced the planned live event with regional online Masters competitions. Liquipedia records a planned USD 250,000 prize pool and lists CORSAIR, Monster Energy and Intel as sponsors. DreamHack separately named CORSAIR as an official DreamHack Masters partner through 2020.[1][2][3][4][6]
Liquipedia’s archived roster shows BIG Counter-Strike and Gen.G Counter-Strike as qualified, while the other 14 slots remained unannounced. No teams played and the event produced no champion. Kinnarps Arena is now named Husqvarna Garden.[1][5]
