The Cyberathlete Professional League (CPL) was an international esports organizer whose competitions included recurring Counter-Strike Winter and Summer championships. CPL founder Angel Munoz said the league began in 1997; the historical organization ceased operations in 2008. Its events also included a multi-stop World Tour, so individual editions are recorded separately rather than merged into one results record.[1]
