PTG Database Analysis

CPL Europe Cologne ran from December 8 to 10, 2000. Liquipedia records 32 teams, an EUR 10,000 prize pool and seven sponsors. Contemporary Gamekult coverage described the site as the fourth floor of an activity centre in Rheinauhafen; the exact historical building has not been independently identified. Clan Z Counter-Strike defeated Spirit of Amiga Counter-Strike in the final.[1][2]

The Liquipedia bracket and placement records identify mTw Counter-Strike, Eyeballers Counter-Strike, Fear Factory Counter-Strike, goodgame Counter-Strike, XTreme Counter-Strike, Community for Freestylers Counter-Strike, SK Gaming Counter-Strike, Strikers Counter-Strike, Ocrana Counter-Strike, Replacement Killers Counter-Strike, Team CH Counter-Strike, Sujin Counter-Strike, Holy Frag Terror Counter-Strike and United CS Squad Counter-Strike, in addition to the finalists. Although Liquipedia gives a 32-team field, its published participant and result records name only 16 entries; the remaining participants cannot be linked from the available record, so participant completeness remains partial.[1]
