Overview

The second Arena of Valor World Cup was held in Da Nang, Vietnam, from June 27 to July 14, 2019. Its 12 teams represented nine regions: Team Flash, MAD Team, ONE Team, BOX Gaming, Toyota Diamond Cobra, ahq, EVOS Esports, X-Man Game, NewB, M8HEXA, BLIZZARD and BMGaming. Garena’s archive lists a double-round-robin BO1 group stage on June 27–30 followed by BO7 knockout matches; Tencent’s announcement says Global Ban Pick was introduced in the knockout stage. Team Flash Arena of Valor defeated MAD Team Arena of Valor 4–3 in the final. The semifinals and final were held at Tiên Sơn Sports Palace on July 13–14. All 12 entrants resolve to canonical Team pages and have locally stored images; eight historical Team records still have pending parent-Club identification. Edition-specific commercial partners were not confirmed in the sources reviewed, so commercial completeness remains partial. Official sources confirm Tencent Games and Garena as joint organizers.[1][2][3][4]
