TRACAB is a sports technology business focused on real-time data capture, distribution, analysis and visualization. Its systems track players, the ball and other objects to support performance analysis, media production and interactive sports experiences.
Electronic Arts acquired TRACAB in 2025. The acquisition placed real-world sports tracking technology inside the same corporate group that publishes major sports-game franchises, including EA SPORTS FC.
Technology and products
TRACAB’s portfolio includes optical and wearable tracking systems. Its technology is designed for leagues, federations, clubs, teams, broadcasters and interactive entertainment companies that need accurate live sports data and tools for analysis or visualization.
EA has already used TRACAB in Project Assist, an early pilot supported by LaLiga that explores how real-time match data can reconstruct and visualize football moments through a game engine.
