Warner Bros. Games develops, publishes, licenses and distributes interactive entertainment across console, PC and mobile platforms. The 2025 Warner Bros. Discovery annual report places it in the Studios segment and describes its work as worldwide publishing, development, licensing and distribution.[1]
The business publishes games made by its own studios and external development partners. Its releases include Hogwarts Legacy, developed by Avalanche Software, and Mortal Kombat titles made by NetherRealm Studios.[2]
Warner Bros. Games was part of Warner Bros. Discovery before Skydance completed its acquisition of WBD on October 6, 2026. Its parentage therefore now runs through WBD to Skydance. The transaction announcement did not provide a post-close games organizational chart.[1][3]
