The Korean Sport & Olympic Committee (KSOC) is the National Olympic Committee of South Korea. It oversees all recognized sporting activities in the country and works with affiliated bodies including the Korea e-Sports Association to manage esports within the Olympic framework.

Role in Esports

KSOC recognizes KeSPA as South Korea’s official esports governing body. During the 2026 Esports Nations Cup controversy, KSOC supported KeSPA’s position that national team representatives could only be selected through official means, reinforcing the established selection processes used for the Asian Games.
