The Esports Association of Hong Kong, China (ESAHK) is a nonprofit association established in 2015 by esports industry stakeholders. Its office is in Wan Chai, Hong Kong, China. The association represents an industry membership that includes esports businesses, gaming venues, product distributors and game and software developers.[1]

Professor Eric Yeung, JP is the association’s founding president. BLAST’s October 2026 announcement identifies Ryan Chow separately as chairman. The founding-president role is also documented in the Law Society of Hong Kong’s speaker profile for Yeung.[5][6]

The Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China granted the association observer status effective December 17, 2021. Its subsequent annual report records the updated registered name, Esports Association of Hong Kong, China Limited. The 2024–2025 annual report continues to list it as an observer in the membership register as at March 31, 2025. ESAHK’s own introduction identifies athlete selection for international esports competitions as a core responsibility.[3][4][7][1]

The official M Mark event listing names ESAHK and BLAST as co-organizers of BLAST Premier Hong Kong Rivals 2026. The listing covers the November 13–15 arena programme at AsiaWorld-Expo.[2]
