XPL Luoyang 2026 was announced as a Tier 2, open-registration Counter-Strike 2 tournament organized by Xinsai Esports. The organizer’s rules scheduled an online play-in for October 4–7 and a LAN main event at the Luoyang Sports Center Gymnasium from October 29 to November 1. The field was planned to include up to 22 registered teams: six high seeds would qualify directly for the LAN playoffs, while 16 other teams would play a single-elimination online qualifier for two remaining main-event places. The eight-team LAN stage was to use two GSL-style groups followed by a four-team single-elimination playoff. The published prize pool was $50,000.

On September 26, XSE cancelled the edition, citing a venue scheduling conflict after another local event changed dates. The organizer said it had inspected alternatives in Luoyang but none met its competition and spectator requirements. Its separate September 27 post gave a 15-working-day refund timeline. These posts establish the organizer’s explanation and refund policy; they do not independently establish that refunds have been completed.

The $50,000 prize pool, dates, format, venue and team cap are therefore records of the planned tournament, not a completed competition. No champion or match results exist for this cancelled edition. Dust2.in reported that BC.Game, Fnatic, Ninjas in Pyjamas, TYLOO and Lynn Vision had paid registration fees by September 16; that pre-event registration report does not establish a final participant field. No competition-specific partnership or audience figures were verified.
