Hải Phòng

Hải Phòng is a centrally governed city and northern Vietnam’s maritime gateway, with a port system that anchors regional logistics. Its current administrative area was formed in July 2025 by merging the former city of Hải Phòng and Hải Dương Province; the city is also developing a central pedestrian-street and night-time programme for visitors and local businesses.

Current position

The city scheduled weekend pedestrian-street, food and cultural activities in the central garden and City Theatre area from Aug. 28 through Oct. 24, 2026. Games ON was included for Oct. 10–11.[3][4]
