SNK Corporation is a Japanese game developer and publisher. The current company was established in Osaka in 2001 as SNK Playmore, adopted the SNK Corporation name in 2016, and moved its headquarters to Yodogawa-ku in 2023. It also lists offices in Tokyo.[1]
SNK’s business includes game development, licensing and esports initiatives. Its catalog includes Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, The King of Fighters, The King of Fighters XV, Samurai Shodown and Metal Slug.[2][3]
In esports, SNK runs the SNK World Championship and provides support for community-run and other organized tournaments through its esports support program.[2]
