The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) is a government ministry in South Korea, based at Government Complex Sejong. Its games and esports work includes national industry planning and published esports policy notices.[1][2][3]

Games and esports policy

MCST’s Game Content Industry Division publishes the 2024–2028 games-industry promotion plan. The ministry posted the plan on December 27, 2024.[2]

The same division published the 2026 esports title-selection results on May 18, 2026, with an accompanying document on industry-support-center assistance.[3]
