COMBO BREAKER is a community-rooted events and apparel brand dedicated to competitive fighting games. The organization says its internationally attended events have showcased fighting-game competition and culture since 2015. COMBO BREAKER LLC owns and operates the events, which are directed by TheHadou and US FGC.[2]
Its flagship event is an annual multi-day festival held over Memorial Day weekend in Chicagoland. Players and fans travel from around the world for open-bracket tournaments and other fighting-game competitions. The 2026 edition ran May 22–24 at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center in Schaumburg, Illinois.[3]
The program extends beyond tournament brackets. COMBO BREAKER also features community-run competitions for games outside its core lineup, cosplay, an artist alley, exhibitors, vendors, classic arcade games, and other activities. This mix of competition and community programming is central to the event’s identity.[3][4]
