The Brazilian Institute of Responsible Gaming (IBJR), known in Portuguese as Instituto Brasileiro de Jogo Responsável, is an industry association founded in 2023. It says its work focuses on responsible online betting and the regulated market. Its published principles address bettor protection, sports integrity, anti-money-laundering controls, responsible advertising and illegal operators.[1][4]

In March 2026, the Ministry of Sport and IBJR signed a 60-month cooperation agreement covering sports integrity and responsible gaming campaigns, information and methodology exchange, technical training and the sharing of good practices.[3]
