The German Olympic Sports Confederation (Deutscher Olympischer Sportbund, DOSB) is the umbrella organization for German sports. In 2026, the DOSB announced the formation of DOSB E-Sports gGmbH, a new subsidiary company that will oversee the organization’s future engagement in esports.

The company begins operations on June 1, 2026, and will serve as an independent platform to develop esports activities in a structured, collaborative, and values-driven manner. The first phase focuses on supporting and coordinating German national teams for international esports events.

DOSB E-Sports gGmbH will work with stakeholders from esports, gaming, sports, politics, and society to build national programs and structures that combine competitive performance, values, and community engagement.
